Decomposed Granite Gold
Decomposed Granite Gold is a crushed granite with a golden yellow colour to it. It has a muddy mixture used to bring something different to landscaping projects. Its high clay structure makes it great for paths as it compacts down well and there is very little work in making it look amazing. If Gold is not your colour we also stock it in Pink.
Decomposed Granite Pink
Decomposed Granite Pink is a pinkish crushed granite great for sprucing up boring yards. Its muddy composition makes it a great product for compaction such as paths or leveling out areas, the added colour makes these areas more complete rather than a grey construction look.
Post Hole Mix
Not sure how much sand and gravel you need in a concrete mix? Not a problem, Post Hole Mix is a pre-mix product with the correct amount of sand to gravel (or metal) ratio. With this mix all you need to do is add the cement (which we also stock Blue Circle Cement) and water and it’s ready to be poured. The sand used in this mix is Coarse Washed Riversand and the Gravel is Blue Metal 10mm if you want to buy them separately.
Blue Metal 10 mm
Blue Metal 10mm is the natural occurring crushed aggregate with a bluish hue. These sharp stones are used in many construction and landscaping areas. The main areas include concreting mix and drainage because of the cleanliness of the product and there is no waste material in the product.
Blue Metal 20 mm
Blue metal 20mm like its smaller counterpart 10mm is made up of the same bluish granite material. It is a clean material with little to no dust elements and its larger size particles make it a better option for drainage.
Blue Metal Dust
Blue Metal Dust is the crushed up particles of Blue Metal which is a fine powder-like product. Blue Metal has a high compaction structure which makes this product really reliable for paths and as a solid base for artificial grass.
Road Base
Our natural Road base is a mix of fine particles (Blue Metal Dust) and small stones (Blue Metal). As the name hints when Road Base is compacted it forms a very solid based which is great for driveways and pathways. Its natural look creates rustic aesthetics and it suits native based yards.
Recycled Concrete Agg 10mm
Recycled Concrete Aggregate 10mm is the recycled alternative to Blue Metal 10mm. It is the same size stone but instead of being made of slate, it is made from recycled concrete, old bricks and roof tiles that have been tumbled into 10mm stones. This is great for jobs that don’t need to look pretty such as underneath drain pipes or temporary paths or driveways.
Recycled Concrete Agg 20mm
Recycled Concrete Aggregate 20mm is made from recycled concrete, old bricks and roof tiles that have been tumbled into 10mm stones. We class it as the recycled alternative to Blue Metal 20mm but being recycled it’s not as clean and does contain dust and smaller particles. Mainly used for drainage underneath Aggie Line and pits as these jobs aren’t visible. Some customers do you Recycled Concrete Aggregate as temporary driveways and paths especially when it rains and it becomes muddy.
Recycled Concrete Fines
Recycled Concrete Fines is a small particle alternative for Blue Metal Dust, pinkish in colour and made up of similar materials that can be found in Recycled Concrete Aggregate. Its structure allows for good for compaction if you need to level base or to fill in some holes. Many customers use it for filling holes because of its price and the way it can filter into small gaps completely.
Recycled Road Base
Recycled Roadbase is the recycled alternative to Natural Road Base, it is a simple mixture of recycled concrete fines, Road Base and Recycled Concrete Aggregate. Similar to Roadbase it can be used for driveways and paths but we recommend that its only a temporary option or to build up an area as it is recycled materials.
